To Boldly Go... 

  Kristal and I are on a journey... a voyage of discovery which includes a broad range of passions.  We discovered early on in our marriage that we shared so many common interests.  And so we are on a quest of sorts, to explore those varied worlds together. 

Travel, Star Trek, Technology & Gaming certainly top the list.  And you'll find quite a bit about all of those.  But our interests also extend to Movies, Music, the hunt for a good steak and of course a great Long Island Ice Tea!

Oh, and it wouldn't be scottnkristal.com without the occasional reference to cats here and yonder.

So please come explore our site.  Learn about the Adventurer's Club, get some Travel tips and help us celebrate this strange existence called Life.  It can be grand and glorious... at times it can be down right torturesome.... But one thing is certain, it's never boring.... And we're out to find the Best this world has to offer!

Recent Events

The past few months have seen our global trek ongoing.  We've returned to the Keys, stopped in to Houston, attended CES and most recently, made a trip to L.A.  Those who know us, already understand that we are not strangers to California.  However, San Francisco, Oakland and San Diego have really been our past haunts.

So Discovering Los Angeles, Orange County, Beverly Hills and of course Hollywood was a special treat... Except for the Traffic.  Be sure to check it out  in our Pictures section... As we are now closing in on 10,000 photographs of our global adventures!!! 

Laguna Beach turned out to be be a special discovery.  Good beaches, a welcoming small town feel and tons of adventure on land and at sea.

The convenience factor of flying in to John Wayne Airport and then cruising the beaches of Southern California 15 minutes later was an awesome discovery. 

This trip saw us tack on San Juan Capistrano.  In and of itself, not a reason to traverse the country for a visit.  But it was certainly worth an afternoon's time.

And Y'all know us... We had to stop in at Disneyland!

Next trip out... Catalina Island.

Future Explorations

CES was terrific.  And this year there has been quite a bit of work travel.  But what sits on the horizon?  It's looking like a return to Greece.  If the locals will stop burning down buildings... Maybe we'll see if the Acropolis is still standing.  :-)
